PROJECT C.A.N.
Project C.A.N., previously known as Collection in Aid of the Needy, was first introduced in 2004 to collect canned food, dried rations and other daily essentials from the public and then distribute these items to the less privileged in Singapore. With this, Project C.A.N. aims to encourage the spirit of giving back to the community amongst the public, while creating awareness of the underprivileged. Over the past 17 years, our project has reached out to many areas such as Toa Payoh, Bishan, Woodlands, Hougang, Kovan, Bedok, Redhill, Macpherson and Ang Mo Kio. Last year, we reached out to approximately 450 needy households and provided care packs for 2500 healthcare workers amidst the pandemic.
