General information
Recruitment of Project Directors for the following project(s):
1. Paint-A-Home XXVI
2. Project We Are One VII
responsibilities. Such responsibilities generally include the management of the project
as a whole and the various cells of the Organising Committee; selection of community
members and management of external partner(s); and sourcing of additional grants and
donations, if necessary, etc.
In the event that there are not enough suitable candidates for any Special Project, it would be put on hold for this academic year.

Application Procedure
1. Application Form
If you are interested to run for the Project Director/Assistant Project Director position for any Special Project, you are encouraged to

2. Proposal
Once you have submitted the application form, we will send you the proposal template
for you to complete.
Upon submission of the proposal and application, you will be contacted to arrange for a
1.5-hour interview.
The interview will be conducted by the President, Vice-President (Special Projects),
General Secretary (Special Projects) and outgoing Project Director(s) of the particular
Special Project. Interviews for group applications will be further advised.
A team should consist of 2 to 3 members. Kindly ensure that every member of your team/ you want in your team has filled out the application form.
For group proposals, do take note of the sections that should be done individually in the proposal template.
Selection Criteria
All potential candidates will be assessed based on the following:
A: Plans to address community needs and value-add to the project
B: Ability to manage the project (e.g. plans, selection of community members, management of external partners)
C: Ability to manage the Organising Committee (e.g. task delegation, conflict management, facilitation of learning)
The recruited Project Directors will be contacted to go through project plans together with the Vice-President (Special Projects) and General Secretary (Special Projects).
